The Pixie Wizard’s rules for color blocking:
1. Leave the prints at home. Color blocking is all about solid pops of color. Patterns break up the color in ways that are not pleasing to the eye when trying this trend.
2. Be bold. You are going to stand out. It’s inevitable. Use statement colors, embrace it and have fun! Remember this post?
3. Break it up. Since a lot of color can be a bit harsh on the eyes, find some gray to add into the mix. Anything from black to white or somewhere in between.
4. Keep it simple. Don’t go overboard with jewelry. Remember, you’re already expressing yourself through color.
That’s it, folks! I hope this helped and I’d love to see what you come up with. Happy color blocking!
