Kylie Jenner’s nails are definitely having a moment, wouldn’t you say? Regardless of your opinion of her, you have to admit that she is an influencer, social media queen and lip kit entrepreneur extraordinaire. When I first spotted her nails via Instagram, I became obsessed.
I’m usually a fan of short nails. They’re just conducive to my lifestyle: I type a lot for work, wear contacts and exercise a lot. But let’s just say that all reasoning and practicality went out the window when I decided I wanted Kylie nails.
I have to admit, I look silly when I’m lifting 12.5-pound weights in an Equinox class with long, pastel nails. I look even sillier because I wear workout gloves. (I have no shame.) I’ve also had to adjust the way I type and put in/take out my contact lenses, among other things. But it’s all worth it, because I’m now obsessed with my own nails. Thanks, Kylie.
