I had the pleasure of spending many weekends in Southampton, NY this summer trying to escape 90-degree weather in the city. Let’s face it, summer is not the ideal time for fashion. It is hot, humid, and unpleasant. One of the ways to remedy this unfortunate combination of factors is by wearing less clothing but still looking put together and appropriate. For me, dressy shorts are usually the way to go. I usually slick my hair into a low (or high) bun, swipe on some bold lipstick, add some sky-high bright heels and I’m good to go!
