With more and more women getting their fitness on, it’s safe to say that athleisure isn’t going anywhere. If you’re like me and workout a ton, you need outfits to match your sweat sessions. The reality is, though, that buying pieces from Bandier, Outdoor Voices and lululemon is going to cost you a pretty penny.
I’ll tell you right now, I’ve never had someone come up to me at the gym and compliment me on how expensive my outfit looks. The comments I get are more about how cute/fun/unique a certain item is (chances are it is from Forever 21 or Brandy Melville). If I haven’t convinced you yet, scroll down! I’ve rounded up some of my favorite budget-friendly workout pieces from Forever 21 for your shopping pleasure.
I love, love, love this sports bra. It’s chic, yet sexy.
One of my favorite workouts is Pilates. It works your core like crazy while lengthening and leaning your muscles. Since you do a lot of rolling on your back and breathing exercises, I like to be as comfy as possible. Joggers are a must.
The elastic on this pullover is unexpected but totally genius. If you do a lot of cardio, you don’t need your top flying up in your face and getting in your way. This pullover will prevent that from happening.
How fun are these leggings?
This tiny backpack will hold all of the essentials: keys, wallet, phone. I’m a bag lady, so I carry at least 15 different things with me at once, but this is perfect for single-destination trips. And it’s adorable.
Pair these with a solid top. Don’t go crazy. Or do… whatever.
This tank comes in two colors. I may have to get both.
And why not get the matching bra, while you’re at it?
I have these in the cropped version and I love them. I may have to get the full-length for the colder months.
O.M.G. These are everything.
Pair this with a neon sports bra and you’ve totally got an 80’s/90’s hybrid look.
And there you have it: my two favorite things (fashion + fitness) in one post! I hope you (and your wallet) love these pieces as much as I do.
