For me, on Thanksgiving, there’s nothing better than seeing my family, breaking diets and taking time to be grateful for everything I have. This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving dinner by candlelight because of a power outage in the neighborhood. It definitely made for a memorable evening!
So, since I ate everything in sight last night, today, I’m taking it easy. (Who am I kidding? I’m STILL eating.) Leftovers in hand, I’m also doing some online shopping and taking you along for the ride!
Shopbop is having their Black Friday sales from now until Monday evening. Spend $250 and receive 15% off your order; spend $500 and get 20% off; spend $1000 and you’re a baller (and get 25% off). Here’s a peek at the items I bought today:
I’ve been on the hunt for these jeans for almost a year now, but they were sold out everywhere. They’re back in stock, thankfully, but I have a feeling the sizes will go fast.
I’ve been wanting a pair of leather pants but am very particular when it comes to what I want. I didn’t want ones that would pucker at the knee when you stand up. (Does anyone know what I’m talking about?) I also wanted ones that weren’t skin-tight or showing every curve. This pair has that moto-look and feel, which is always a good thing, in my opinion. The ribbing is in just the right places and I’m already planning on wearing them everywhere.
I was in desperate need of a new clutch. I’ve attempted to go out at night by putting everything in my pockets, but that never worked out… especially when I didn’t have pockets! This one is understated, yet chic. Just how I would describe myself. JK.
As you can see, I didn’t go too crazy. I got three items that I know I will use on a weekly basis and now I’m done. They were budget-friendly purchases and the ultimate staple pieces.
If you’re looking for more deals, here are some other sales going on at my favorite stores:
Bloomingdale’s – They have various deals going on, both in store and online.
Forever 21 – Up to 70% off selected items. They’re basically giving these clothes away!
Nordstrom – If you missed their Anniversary Sale at the end of the summer, here’s your chance to stock up some of those pieces you’ve been eyeing. Sale prices vary.
Topshop – Up to 50% off. I’ve been loving Topshop lately, probably because I live two blocks away from the one in Soho.
Zara – 30% their entire collection.
