My mom has been my best friend since I was a little girl. We even had a secret sign/gesture that reminded us of our friendship. Fast forward a few decades, and we live thousands of miles away from each other. Though we speak over the phone every day, I can’t help but miss her when I am out and about doing simple things like grabbing a cup of coffee or trying on a dress and needing her opinion. She has amazing style and I think I got my fashion sense from her. She may not have blue hair or wear a ton of neon, but she is the original pixie wizard and the strongest, kindest, funniest, most beautiful woman in the world.
