Forever 21 top and denim vest, Topshop skater skirt, Zara kicks
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to learn how to skateboard. The problem? I’m a big chicken when it comes to… just about anything and everything. When I was younger, I used to take my brother’s skateboard, sit on it, and roll myself down the driveway. Yup, I was that much of a scaredy-cat. Anyway, my obsession with skaters is what originally drew me to this skirt. I secretly thought that wearing it would make me seem more like a skater chick. It wasn’t until a while (and I mean a while) later that I realized that it’s called a skater skirt because it is like the skirts that ice skaters wear. NOT skateboarders. Please stop laughing.
